Recording Session

Studio recording and mixing of a local sureño grupo with the focus on capturing their style and live performance feel. Microphone selection and placement were optimized to maintain dynamic control cohesive balance throughout the mix.

Mix and Master

Mixed and mastered provided stems for a school project, focusing on vocal clarity, balance, and cohesion. Vocal tracks were cleaned and processed to achieve a polished, natural sound, with careful layering to create a strong blend. Instrumentation was balanced to maintain fullness while preserving space and presence for the vocals. Final mastering brought the project to streaming-ready levels with a cohesive overall sound.

Sound Design

Created an original sample for use in a high school indoor winds show, designed to evoke the atmosphere of a Mesoamerican tribe during a rainy day. The sound design focused on environmental texture and mood to support the visual and musical narrative of the performance.

Produced and arranged this track using a provided vocal track and key signature. Instrumentation was designed to reinforce the vocal melody while maintaining an upbeat, immersive character.
